1. What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made with non-toxic soy wax, phthalate-free & paraben-free fragrance oils, and a cotton wick for a clean, even burn. Every candle is hand-poured with care to ensure consistent quality.


2. Are your candles eco-friendly?

Yes! We use sustainable soy wax, eco-conscious packaging, and clean ingredients that are safe for your home and the environment.


3. How long do your candles burn?

Each candle provides 40+ hours of burn time. Just remember to trim your wick to ¼” before each burn for the best results.


4. Where are your candles made?

All of our candles are handcrafted in small batches in California, with attention to detail and love in every pour.


5. Do you use essential oils in your candles?

Yes! Many of our candles are infused with pure essential oils for a more natural and uplifting aroma. Each product description lists the oils used.


6. Do your candles contain toxins or harmful ingredients?

No. Our candles are always phthalate-free, paraben-free, and made without any harmful chemicals.


7. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and more — processed securely through Shopify.


8. Can I send a candle as a gift?

Yes! You can ship directly to the recipient and include a personalized message at checkout. We never include pricing in gift orders.


9. Do you offer gift wrapping?


We do not currently offer gift wrapping. All orders are shipped in a standard cardboard box with protective cushioning to ensure your candles arrive safely. While our packaging is designed for protection during transit, it is not gift-style packaging.

 


10. How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location. You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.


11. Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is not available yet, but we’re working on it!


12. What if I’m not satisfied with my purchase?

We want you to be happy. If you're not satisfied, you may return any unused item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense

Items must be in original, unused condition

Just email us at [your support email] and we’ll walk you through the process.


13. Do you offer exchanges?

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. You’re welcome to return the original item and place a new order for your preferred scent.


14. My candle arrived damaged — what should I do?

We’re so sorry! Please email us a photo of the damaged item and packaging within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll be happy to send a replacement or refund your purchase.


15. How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn

Burn until the wax pool reaches the edge (especially the first time)

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Stop burning when ¼ inch of wax remains

17. Do you offer a performance guarantee?

Yes — we proudly stand behind the quality of our candles. That’s why we offer a 100% Performance Guarantee.
If you're not fully satisfied with your candle’s performance (fragrance strength, burn quality, or overall experience), you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

The candle must be mostly unused (less than 25% burned)

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense

We want you to love every Monarch candle. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.
